Five-Star Basketball and PrepChamps Announce Exclusive Partnership
Raleigh/Durham, NC (PRWEB) May 29, 2008 -- The basketball camp that produced such NBA stars as Michael Jordan, Lebron James and Dwayne Wade is partnering with the country's premier high school athletics recruiting website to get its student athletes noticed.
As part of the exclusive, multi-year partnership PrepChamps will feature every high school athlete participating in one of Five-Star Basketball's summer camps on its website. Athletes will set up an account and profile on www.PrepChamps.com that will contain feature footage from the athletes' experience at the FiveStar camps, as well as photos, statistical and academic information. Coaches and recruiters can then get a glimpse of the talented players that attend Five-Star camps each year.

Five-Star Basketball camps feature college and professional coaches looking to provide guidance, mentorship and knowledge to college basketball hopefuls. Legendary coaches Rick Pitino and Bobby Knight have coached at the camps. "This is a great opportunity for us to combine our online tools with Five-Star's reputation and outreach to help us promote high school athletes and college basketball scholarship hopefuls," says Jeremy Rohrs, Partner and Director of Basketball Operations at PrepChamps.
More than 80 active NBA players are alumni of Five-Star camps, including current stars Carmello Anthony and Vince Carter and legends Isaiah Thomas and Moses Malone. Close to 400 campers have played in at least one NBA game.
